About Geotechnica

 David is a principal geotechnical engineer with over 25 years of operations, research and consulting rock mechanics experience.  David has extensive experience in the use of various numerical modelling software; including 11 years experience in various positions at Itasca International, Inc. David completed a PhD in mining geomechanics in 2003 ( https://doi.org/10.26190/unsworks/5315 ).

He has performed three-dimensional numerical back-analyses and predictive analyses for civil, mining and hydro power projects throughout the world. He is a registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) and is a registered engineer (NER) with Engineers Australia.
